In the coming weeks, the Proud Sponsor campaign will be raising its voice as we make the case about the value of higher education in a variety of more public ways. From a full-page ad in The Chronicle of Higher Education to the release of our new campaign video and messaging tool kit. Read on to learn more and see how you can join the movement!
Sixty Seconds That Says It All
We’re thrilled to share something special with you—our brand-new national video! In just sixty seconds, this powerful piece captures the heart of our mission and the impact higher education makes across the country. We couldn’t be more excited for you to see it, and we invite you to press play below and experience the story we’re so proud to tell.
It’s official, our Proud Sponsor toolkit is now available for our supporters to download and begin helping to change the narrative around higher education. Designed as a turnkey resource, the toolkit contains social media post content and digital ads that you or your organization can use—at no cost—to support the initiative. We’ve developed and provided all the assets you need for a successful social or digital ad campaign, including all images, written content, and multiple ad sizes.
If you’re still not sure that our provided content is the right fit for your organization, we would be glad to help you create a campaign that is customized to you. To learn more about how we can partner together on a custom campaign, reach out to Greg Summers today.
Don’t miss the chance to connect with members of the Proud Sponsor team at this year’s AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education (Nov 9-12). We’re looking forward to spreading the word about our campaign, connecting with current supporters/sponsors, and building new coalitions. And look for our full-page Proud Sponsor ad in the October 17 print and digital editions of The Chronicle of Higher Education in advance of the conference.
There are so many ways to get involved with and support this important initiative. If you’re attending the conference and are interested in connecting one-on-one with someone from our team, let us know by completing a brief inquiry form and include “AMA Connect” in your request notes.
You can also look for us in the Exhibit Hall and we have a few surprises up our sleeves. We promise you won’t be able to miss Proud Sponsor’s presence. Keep your eyes peeled and see you in Maryland.
Proud Sponsor on Social
Coinciding with the release of our campaign video and toolkit, we have officially launched our Instagram and LinkedIn channels. The accounts are designed to provide you with the latest news, updates, and content as we continue to build the movement. Normally in marketing, it’s a bad idea to borrow from others, but we’re encouraging you to copy from our social accounts. We’ll be posting content directly from our toolkit, which will serve as a live example of how you can use the content on your own accounts. We also encourage you to share or repost our messages to your own personal or organizational accounts.
Growing a social media audience from scratch takes work and that’s where we need your help. Following our accounts and liking/sharing our posts is an easy way to support the campaign.

New National Partnerships Mark Growing Influence
Proud Sponsor isn’t just a moment … it’s a movement. Our coalition of national partnerships continues to grow rapidly.First, we’re thrilled to announce that the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) a global, not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing education to transform lives and society, has now joined with BVK to help lead the Proud Sponsor campaign. CASE is actively seeking sponsors to stand up for higher education. If you or someone you know leads a business or philanthropic organization that is interested in helping to fund the Proud Sponsor campaign, let us know. Reach out to Terry Flannery, Executive Vice President at CASE, for more information.
In addition, we have recently joined forces with the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO) and the University Innovation Alliance (UIA). The policy expertise of both organizations will help us reach new audiences, bring even more real-world stories of impact to light, and restore trust in college and universities.
Another Proud Sponsor Pod
Finally, on December 7, Tamalyn Powell will be a guest on Confessions of a Higher Ed CMO, hosted by Jaime Hunt. The podcast explores how the Proud Sponsor campaign helps to address the current crisis of confidence in higher education, and the many ways that colleges and universities can participate in the growing national movement.
Let's Speak Together
If there was ever a time for colleges and universities to join together and speak with one voice about the value of higher education, that time is now. We hope you will do all you can to share our campaign with others and encourage them to join the movement: visit the website and sign up for our newsletter, download and use the toolkit, endorse the campaign, and connect us with potential sponsors.
